Fall Festival Follies!

Trade days at Collected Treasures in Arlington was so much fun!  The weather could not have been better.

The attendees and vendors were delightful, the atmosphere festive.

Joanna (my fun booth companion), of Sweet Finds,
and Jana (our gracious hostess), of Collected Treasures  .

Joanna and me.
Why, J, must you have a photo?  Why, A, did you post it?

The entire day was as much fun as rummaging through a tin of vintage goodness.

Historic Handley Fall Festival

Today was the Historic Handley Fall Festival just outside of Fort Worth, Texas.
It was a day of cool Fall temperatures, music and  festive color everywhere.
  Lantana was in full bloom.

Sweet potato vine was abundant in shade of chartreuse.

Pumpkins in irridescent copper and swirls of cinnamon glitter adorned vendor tables.

Puppies were on parade all day long, including this rascal,
who was ready to lose the Wizard of Oz flying monkey costume after he won first prize.

Antique cars in vibrant hues paraded through the main street.

Local shops were dapperly dressed.

Handmade charms decorated glittery trees.

Side gardens were robust with color and welcome respite.

A  MaGiCaL day indeed!

Show Time

Yesterday I participated in a vendor fair that was virtually rained out.  Before the storm hit, I was able to capture a few photos of my wares for sale.  Above, a vintage cross pendant with vintage chain, pearls, and chandelier crystal.

Below, a hand wrapped sterling silver wire, aquamarine, and kyanite necklace and earrings.

Below, a floral design in vintage silverplate creamer.

Collage of paint, starfish and mermaids.

And more bathing beauties, sans tails of scales.

I hope you find a ray of sunshine on this fine day!
